Characterization of Supercontinuum Comb Generation Based on Er-doped Ultrashort Pulse Fiber Laser

Abstract

Octave spanning supercontinuum comb generation was demonstrated using stabilized fiber laser comb, and highly nonlinear normal dispersive and zero dispersive fibers. Characteristics of spectral shape and coherence were examined and fiber length dependence was discussed.
