Cavity soliton dynamics under lossy phase modulated driving field: A variational approach

Abstract

Adopting a semi-analytical variational method we study the stability criteria and propagation dynamics of a cavity soliton under lossy and phase modulated driving field. The analytical treatment corroborate well with numerical results.
