Tunable Integrated Photonic Components on an Elastomer Chip

Abstract

We design, fabricate and test an integrated, waveguide-based beamsplitter with mechanically tunable splitting ratio. Devices are implemented on a soft polymer chip and support single mode guiding over a wide range of visible wavelengths.
