100 Gbit/s Graphene Photodetector

Abstract

We report on a waveguide-integrated plasmon-enhanced graphene photodetector demonstrating simultaneously a responsivity of 0.5 A/W and a bandwidth beyond 67 GHz. The device capabilities are shown in a 100 Gbit/s PAM-4 data reception experiment.
