Parametric processes induced by ultrafast dynamics in a photonic crystal nanocavity switch

Abstract

We present measurements of time-resolved transmission spectra of a photonic crystal nanocavity switch using a heterodyne pump-probe technique, showing ultrafast spectral dynamics which we interpret as results of parametric process induced by free carrier oscillations.
