Stable Kerr Solitons for Optical-Frequency Synthesis and Direct Frequency-Comb Atomic Spectroscopy

Abstract

We explore frequency-stable Kerr-soliton systems, one using a dual-microcomb architecture for self-referencing and another using atomic spectroscopy. We demonstrate an integrated-photonics frequency synthesizer and rubidium-referenced soliton pulses.
