SOA-based Optical Fiber Loop for Optical Frequency Comb Generation Using Different Modulation Approaches

Abstract

An optical frequency comb generator based on a recirculation loop using semiconductor optical amplifiers and different optical modulators is proposed. The amplifier nonlinear behavior provided up to 30 comb lines under best operational conditions.
