Optical fiber’s open surface as an optical range antenna

Abstract

The opened surface of a single-mode optical fiber is considered as an optical range dielectric antenna. Applied antennas’ theory within the of computer simulation directivity patterns for three wavelengths is obtained at the optimum length.
