The True Origins of the Green Luminescence in the “Zero-dimensional” Perovskite Cs4PbBr6

Abstract

Amongst significant debate we provide conclusive proof showing that the green luminescence from Cs4PbBr6 perovskites is in fact due to nanocrystalline CsPbBr3 impurities. This is verified with cathodoluminescence imaging and EDX measurements.
