Imaging with thick lenses using ABCD matrices and under first-order material dispersion

Abstract

ABCD matrices for a thick lens are used to ascertain imaging behavior for a colored 2D object under first-order material dispersion. Frequency-dependent dispersion of dielectric permittivity is incorporated in the analysis and results are compared with the non-dispersive problem.
