Speckle Reduction in Computer-Generated Holography with Multi-level Amplitude Encoding

Abstract

Speckles often occur in the reconstructed image of a phase-only computer-generated hologram. Here we present the speckle reduction by encoding hologram with both the phase and multi-level amplitude, which can be realized by a dielectric metasurface.
