MIR spin angular momentum detection by a chiral graphene plasmonic nanostructure

Abstract

A graphene-chiral plasmonic nanostructure photodetector that can detect MIR spin angular momentum (SAM) has been designed, modelled and fabricated. We demonstrate circular dichroism (CD) of 30% and absorption of 65% at a wavelength of 3.9 µm.
