Fabrication and Characterization of an All-solid Double-clad Tellurite Photonic Bandgap Fiber

Abstract

An all-solid double-clad tellurite photonic bandgap fiber is fabricated based on three glasses. Photonic bandgap properties are calculated by the plane wave expansion method, and the results agree well with the measured transmission spectrum.
