Near-field frequency-to-time mapping for arbitrary shaping of biphoton correlations

Abstract

We demonstrate a shaper-assisted near-field frequency-to-time mapping technique using biphotons. By pre-modifying the two-photon spectral amplitude and phase, arbitrary temporal correlations can be achieved with dispersion in the near-field region.
