Flexible Tunable Liquid Crystal Platform in Terahertz Region

Abstract

We investigated an engineered flexible material platform to actively modulate terahertz waves in phase and amplitude using stratified layers of patterned gold, Teflon and liquid crystals. Both simulation and experimental results will be provided.
