Fabrication and Performance Analysis of Mach-Zehnder Interferometer Coupled Polymer Microring Resonator with Microfluidic Channel for Refractive-Index Sensing

Abstract

Mach-Zehnder interferometer coupled polymer microring resonator possessing microfluidic channel is proposed, numerically studied and fabricated for refractive-index sensing applications. Numerical results suggest an improved sensitivity of 202nm/RIU.
