Higher Order Modes of Ultrathin Optical Fibers for Particle Manipulation

Abstract

We exploit some of the properties of the first group of higher order ultrathin optical fiber modes for particle manipulation. This allows us to exploit features such as negative torque and spin-orbital angular momentum transfer.
