High Harmonic Generation (HHG) inside a Modelocked Thin-Disk Laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a compact coherent XUV source based on intracavity high harmonic generation inside a modelocked thin-disk laser, generating photons with energy up to 20.4 eV (17th harmonics) at a repetition rate of 17.4 MHz.
