Intraoperative Monitoring of Spinal Cord Blood Flow

Abstract

Spinal cord ischemia is commonly associated with both trauma and surgery. We demonstrate a catheter-based optical tool to continuously monitor spinal cord blood flow intraoperatively in a ovine model of spinal surgery.
