Exploring Exotic Polarization Topologies in Complex 3D Electromagnetic Fields

Abstract

If electromagnetic fields are spatially confined, exotic polarization phenomena and topologies can be observed. Here, we discuss the appearance and experimental study of optical polarization Möbius strips and ribbons at the nanoscale.
