Generation and Detection of Terahertz Waves by Photoconductive Antennas

Abstract

The point where laser focus on the photoconductive antennas is an important factor to getting the best signal to noise ratio when THz waves must be generated or detected. Experimental results are compared with different models for the antennas, including two back side Schottky diodes.
