Development of Photon Pair Sources Using Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate Waveguides and Fiber Optic Components

Abstract

We developed a photon pair source that consists of fiber optic components and a periodically poled lithium niobate crystal with integrated waveguides. Photon pair coincidence count experiments were performed, and a heralding efficiency of 68% was measured.
