Transverse Translation Diversity in Image-Based Wavefront Sensing

Abstract

Translation diversity provides an alternative to traditional defocus-diverse image-based wavefront sensing. Both methods are accurate and require little additional hardware, but translation diversity, also called ptychography, is sometimes more readily available and robust.
