Fiber components, fiber amplifiers and phase control for coherent combination

Abstract

Fused fiber components, concepts for fiber amplifiers and phase control mechanisms were investigated to be used in coherent beam combining. The investigated photonic devices promise highly integrated and compact laser sources.
