Radiation Reaction and Ultra-high Intensity Lasers

Abstract

Radiation reaction describes the classical self-interaction of charged particles with their radiation field. The theory will be reviewed, as well as interesting possibilities to test the theory in the near future with ultra-high intensity lasers.
