Modeling Depolarization Effects in Highly Scattering Media

Abstract

The propagation of polarized light through micro-structured materials such as air-polymer composites was modeled using a Monte-Carlo algorithm, and the effect of material parameters on light diffusion and depolarization determined, especially at large scattering angles.
