Encoding high order cylindrically polarized light beams

Abstract

We generate cylindrically polarized and more complicated variations of polarized light beams using a liquid crystal spatial light modulator and a double-pass architecture by adding additional linear and quadratic phase shifts to the two circular polarization components.
