Thin Film Lenses with Microscale Wrinkles

Abstract

Flexible, ultralow cost and scalable focusing lenses are fabricated by creating concentric wrinkle rings on the surfaces of thin films. Preliminary devices show a promise for achieving focal spots as small as 50 μm.
