Breaking the Axial Symmetry of Plasmonic Nanoantennas

Abstract

Nonisosceles bowtie nanoantennas with central symmetry are studied numerically. Compared with the axial symmetry, the central symmetry suppresses the mode splitting and gap enhancement by coupling and interferences of four edges.
