Optical Imaging of Cerebral Oxygen Delivery and Consumption Across Length Scales

Abstract

I will review advances in utilizing Near Infrared Spectroscopy and Diffuse Correlation Spectroscopy to measure oxygen delivery/consumption in humans, and then transition to microscopic measurements in animals with Optical Coherence Tomography and oxygen quenched phosphoresence lifetime microscopy.
