Aberration Correction of Coherent Imagery

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

In coherent imaging, one obtains a complex-valued image of the optical field reflected by an object under coherent illumination. One can propagate this field numerically to the pupil of the imaging system and manipulate the phase to correct for aberrations. Methods for doing this will be discussed.
