Direct Violation of Heisenberg's Precision Limit by Weak Measurements

Abstract

We present the first direct experimental violation of Heisenberg’s precision limit. We demonstrate this violation in the polarization of a single photon using weak measurements, implemented by a one-way quantum computing technique.
