Double comb generated by a mode-locked laser based on an integrated nonlinear microring resonator

Abstract

We report a mode locked laser based on an integrated high-Q microring resonator with a highly monochromatic radiofrequency modulation thanks to the stable operation of two slightly shifted spectral optical comb replicas.
