Suspended Polymer Photonic Crystal Networks

Abstract

We demonstrate a suspended polymer photonic crystal architecture with an in-plane photonic bandgap and enabling high-Q nanocavities. Employing this architecture, we implement a waveguide-coupled cavity drop filter with sub-nanometer spectral resolution.
