Controlling Polarization of Light Transmitted Through Highly Scattering Media

Abstract

We introduce the vector transmission matrix to study the transmission of light through highly scattering media. We illustrate the utility of this matrix by demonstrating, for the first time, the possibility of controlling the polarization of light transmitted through such media.
