Superballistic transport and anomalous diffusion in inhomogeneous lattices

Abstract

We report on how the structure of an inhomogeneous time-independent system allows for anomalous diffusive spreading as well as superballistic transport. We prove our theoretical findings with experiments in optical waveguide arrays.
