Four-wave-mixing Bragg scattering in SiNx waveguides for low-noise, on-chip wavelength conversion

Abstract

Low-noise wavelength-conversion through four-wave mixing Bragg scattering in SiNx waveguides is experimentally demonstrated, with efficiencies approaching 5%. Finite-element and split-step Fourier simulations are employed to predict device performance.
