Tunable Resonant Color Filters Fabricated in Silicon Nitride on Glass Substrates

Abstract

An angle-tuned guided-mode resonance color filter is designed and fabricated using a subwavelength silicon nitride grating on a glass substrate. The fabricated device shows red, green, and blue pixel response with experimental efficiency of 75% and filter bandwidth of 10 nm.
