In Vivo Adaptive Optics Imaging of the Lamina Cribrosa in Normal and Glaucomatous Eyes

Abstract

The lamina cribrosa has been suggested to be the location of initial axonal damage in glaucoma. High-resolution, in vivo images of the lamina afforded with adaptive optics could lend insights into mechanisms of this disease.
