Super-resolution spectroscopy by compact representation

Abstract

We demonstrate experimentally reconstruction of spectra at resolution higher than the fundamental time-frequency-bandwidth limit of the spectrometer. Knowing that the spectrum has compact representation enables retrieving data that is otherwise lost.
