Thermal Ghost Imaging with Averaged Speckle Patterns

Abstract

We present a theory with experimental demonstration that a thermal ghost imaging system can maintain its image quality even when it uses slow detectors which only respond to intensity-averaged, or “blurred” speckle patterns.
