Ultrasensitive Label Free Biosensors Enables Seeing Protein Monolayers with The Naked Eye

Abstract

By exploiting plasmonic sub-radiant dark modes, we demonstrate ultrasensitive biosensors with record high figure of merits (FOM~162). We also show direct detection of single monolayers of proteins with naked eye using associated fundamental Fano resonances.
