Monolithic Continuous-Wave Optical Parametric Ring Oscillator in Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate

Abstract

We report a monolithic singly-resonant cw optical parametric oscillator (OPO) in periodically poled lithium niobate. The threshold is 1.0 W and the OPO delivers up to 0.98 W signal tunable between 1750 and 1950 nm.
