Mimicking an Amplitude Damping Channel for Laguerre Gaussian Modes

Abstract

An amplitude damping channel for Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) modes is presented. Experimentally the action of the channel on LG modes is in good agreement with that predicted theoretically.
