Transmission Characteristics of Silver Nanoapertures

Abstract

The polarization-dependent transmission spectra of silver nanoapertures are investigated. A strong transmission loss in the region of plasmonic resonance and a suppression of cut-off attenuation in the donut aperture are observed.
