GaAs Microdisks Cavities for Second-Harmonic Generation

Abstract

We experimentally investigate quasi-phasematched, second-harmonic generation (SHG) in GaAs microdisks. We predict 0.1% conversion efficiency using 1 mW pump through doubly resonant SHG.
