Sub-nanoscale Resolution for Microscopy via Coherent Population Trapping

Abstract

We present a coherent population trapping based scheme to attain sub-nanoscale resolution for microscopy using three-level atoms coupled to two optical fields—amplitude modulated probe field and a spatially dependent coupling field.
