Wavelength Conversion Characterization of 2-14 Gb/s BPSK Channels Based on SOA-FWM Properties

Abstract

An empirical characterization of wavelength conversion of phase modulated channels based on SOA-FWM is presented. For a 3-nm range around a modulated carrier, the first FWM product in negative detuning showed the best conversion performance.
