Abstract

Optical comb generation, by intermodal transitions induced via dynamically reconfiguring a heterostructure cavity embedded within a photonic crystal ring resonator, is proposed. Tailoring the structure, 13 generated frequencies spanning the S-L bands are demonstrated numerically.
