High Threshold Fiber Fuse Effect in a Hollow Optical Fiber

Abstract

We report fiber fuse effect in a hollow optical fiber for the first time, where tadpole-like voids were observed at much higher threshold power in contrast to bullet-like voids in conventional optical fibers.
